Several Homes Torn Apart As Tornadoes Strike North Texas

Two tornadoes have been confirmed based on damage left behind by overnight storms in North Texas, according to the National Weather Service. Damage consistent with an EF-1 tornado was found in Lewisville, and EF-0 evidence was found in Tarrant County. Straight-line winds caused some of the most serious damage in Rockwall. The NWS says 90 to 95 mph winds blew through the area but found “no evidence” of a tornado. One person was injured and multiple houses were destroyed in Rockwall. Just about every home in Rockwall’s Dalton Ranch subdivision was damaged by high winds.
