Coming home that day to a burned house was the last thing I ever expected. The loss of our pet Smokey and the disruption in our lives was a tremendous shock, Our family suffered from Hurricane Sandy only a few months prior to the electrical fire, and were still in the process of cleaning up the mess the storm left us. We had to immediately find a place to live to accommodate a family of four, 1 cat and a large dog. And, we also had to figure out how it was going to pay for additional living expenses. Never having gone through such a tragedy in our lives before, it demanded a professional service to assist us though the process.
Unsure of whom to hire as our public adjuster, highly recommended by the township, Community Claims, Barry, Jesse, and Caroline removed all doubts the first day going through this process. They are a knowledgeable and dedicated business that care about our losses, and this allows us to continue our lives with work, school and scheduled activities.
They fully advised us what to expect and how long the process would take from start to finish. They always arrived on time, were always available for us whenever we called questions, and protected from stresses of cleanup, having to replace things we lost, financial hardship and most of all dealing the insurance company.
They always made us feel like our questions were important and always returned our calls right away. We quickly received an advance in payment from our insurance company to replace clothing, shoes, and household needs because of their relationships with the insurance company they established over the years. Even though Allstate was our insurance carrier and they advertise the good hands, we found that the true good hands to be in were Community Claims.
I will always recommend them if I have the chance. Because of the dedication to our claim we were able to move on with our lives happily.
Dear Clarke and Jesse,
I just wanted to send you a note of how pleased we were in your handling of the claims process due to the damage connected with Hurricane Sandy.
I was in the building and maintenance business for over fifty years and have dealt with a number of adjusters with a situation similar to ours. You and your team were the most courteous, honest, efficient, and knowledgeable group that I have ever dealt with.
When we thought all was lost, you came through and made it happen.
If ever you need a letter of recommendation, please don’t hesitate to call us.
It has been a pleasure dealing with you, and Richard, Claudine, and me thank you.
I literally never hire anyone to do anything for me. But I hired Community Claims Associates to handle my mother’s homeowner’s insurance claim… and I’m glad I did.
I wasn’t so concerned with the settlement amount, rather just getting through the process. Not only did Jesse and Clarke coordinate with the insurance company, but Clarke got my mom squared away with a rental car and also helped with many other things. Most importantly though, is that he reached out to my mom with supports thats the most important, as I’m over 300 miles away. You and Clarke truly appreciated the fact that since my father passed away 11 months before and that my mother was all alone, that this was an especially emotional time for her. She could’ve gone either way, but your personal attention got her thru a difficult time. Furthermore, Clarke is currently coordinating the demolition of the remaining structure - he truly has gone above and beyond.
Thanks again and we would be happy to be a reference for anyone who is involved in an insurance claim. We had never heard of Public Insurance Adjusters and in retrospect, I’m glad I contracted this out and didn’t handle on our own and furthermore choosing CCA was a wise move.
I would just like to thank you so very much for all your time and effort on our behalf. You have been wonderful to us.
Wishing you and your family a very happy & healthy New Year.
Thank you so much for your endless time that you and your staff had spent to help prepare the flood loss claim process on our property in Seaside Heights. My husband and I would be totally lost if we had to deal with this by ourself. We greatly appreciated Terry ( the owner of Rockafella’s Restaurant ) for her referral. All of you are so wonderful and very professional on your services and for sure we will refer you to anyone that needs a public adjuster. Thanks again for all of your help in handling our flood loss after Superstorm Sandy
I remember watching, in August of 2005, the devastating affects of Katrina in the Gulf Coast region. This storm was like nothing we have ever seen before. I was at the time trying to visualize what it would be like to have a home in the evening but by morning have nothing but a water filled building with furnishing, personal items, ( old photos, family memories, clothing, tools, etc. ) a collection of several lifetimes of family treasures all destroyed. You think you know, but until it actually happens to you, you don’t really know.
We found out on Oct. 29, 2012, when a massive storm hit the East Coast and was one like we had never seen before. We walked away from a newly renovated home done in Nov. 2011, and came back to find everything described above. We can only let you know that through our experience of devastation, there are still groups. Barry, Jesse, AnnMarie, and the entire staff at Community Claims were one of these groups. From the first meeting, we felt as though a huge weight was lifted from us. You concern, compassion, and personal interest in our nightmare was evident. We called as often as we had questions always finding answers and guidance as to the procedures to follow for a beneficial outcome. We never could have recovered the losses we incurred from this storm without your professional knowledge. Community Claims Associates should be in everyone’s card file just in case. Talk about Good hands people! You are the real ones! The first call at a time like this definitely should be to Community Claims. We thank you for all you helped us with and through, this being the worst disaster we have ever experienced.
We are now rebuilt and back to exactly 2011 renovation state. Your business experience and representation has put our lives back to pre-Sandy status. We will be celebrating 47 years of marriage in our home this December. We would highly recommend your services. Hope you all are doing well.
Sergio and I cannot thank you enough for all of your time, hard work and dedication you put into your home. You made an extremely difficult situation much easier to handle. You truly are an asset to your company and we are very fortunate to have you on our side. With much gratitude.
We wanted to thank you for your assistance with our loss. We certainly wouldn’t have done this well without your help and knowledge. You have given us peace of mind that we have been correctly assessed. If in the future we know of anyone with a significant insurance claim, we would certainly recommend them to you. I can only hope that we do not have any more problems in the future but if we did, I would know where to go for help.
We wish to thank you and your staff for all of the help in our house fire. Without your help, we would have never recovered the money due us. This is not something a homeowner can do on his own. The money we spent on your services was well worth it.
While owning and managing many properties in New Jersey, I’ve used other Public Adjusters. After dealing with Community Claims Associates, I’ve learned that their expedience and professionalism as well as their settlements in handling property insurance claims and superior.
I wish to thank you, Caroline, and all the staff Community Claims for your assistance in the settling of my insurance claim. In the aftermath of Sandy’s destruction, I have heard so many horror stories from friends, relative, and neighbors complaining about both their insurance companies and the public adjustors they hired. I can honestly state that one of the best decisions I have made since the storm was to contract with Community Claims. Everyone there has been so courteous and helpful. I am truly grateful for your assistance.
Thanks for the fabulous job on settling the claim and coordinating the rebuild and clean-up. You can’t imagine how great we felt walking into our house after 2 week vacation to find our kitchen in the tree-loss state. Well done!
I just wanted to thank you once again, for all of your help in handling our fire loss. I think you and Jesse did a fantastic job in making a horrible situation not so hard to deal with. Your assistance from day one really took a load off my back. You handled things for me that I just don’t think I would have had the strength to do. I know that things would never have gone the way they did without the help of Community Claims Associates. I am so glad we chose your company to represent us. The house looks great and we truly have you to thank for it.
When you lose your house to a fire it can be devastating. More devastating can be the road back to recovery. Working with Barry and Jesse Sipe was like being rescued before you became lost. There is no way we could have recovered so much without having strong representatives to deal with our insurance company, from quickly getting us a place to live to breaking ground for our new home. There is so much that you just don’t know. Community Claims was with us every step of the way, supporting us through every process. Day or night they advised us on every decision, always with a sensitivity and awareness of who we were as individuals. They understood our situation and our best interest were always their priority.
It is hard to trust strangers when putting your life back together after a fire.It is not easy to share responsibility for your biggest financial asset and place it at times into the hands of others. Jesse and Barry and those on their staff were so knowledgable, so diligent in their working on our behalf, that it became quite easy to develop a relationship of trust, mutual respect, friendship and humor.
We are now rebuilding a beautiful home. Barry and Jesse, with their years of experience and honest concern for the people they serve cannot be praised enough. It is our pleasure to give them our highest recommendation.
I just wanted to write a small note to tell you how thankful my family and barbershop are. Without your help we might still be sitting in a pile of ruins. Thought our case was anything but simple and was definitely not your biggest case, I feel you treated me like any one of your larger clients and for that I thank you. You’re a good man Jesse and your compassion to get the job done impresses me more than you will ever know.
We can honestly say that we have never made a better decision than the day we engaged you as our adjuster.
Your explanations of the adjusting process, what we were to expect and what was required of us was at the very top of professionalism. But what we felt was above the business aspect was that you not only “held our hands” but added that gentle pat that everything would be okay. And most importantly, you kept us informed of the process, throughout. Our calls were promptly returned and when you said you were going to do something, it was done.
Again, thanks for all of your assistance and for fully protecting our interests and obtaining a full and fair property settlement with our insurer. This would not have happened without your representation
Raymond and I just want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done for us. I bless the firemen for saving our home but also for recommending you services. I cannot imagine how it would have fared for us had you not handled things as competently as you did from the very beginning.
When our basement fire happened last August, our lives seemed surreal. Just like that, two days before school was to begin, we were displaced. We had no home and access to only a few belongings. What an extremely unsettling feeling. Neither Ray nor I had any idea of how to handle things, of what to do first, or of how to proceed with even the simplest matters. That night, our heads were spinning. Thank goodness you met us first thing the next morning. Your demeanor immediately put us at ease, your knowledge of fire damage brought to our attention many facets that I’m sure Ray and I would have overlooked, and your professionalism in explaining, moreover, handling the process left us with no doubt that we did the right thing by hiring you.
Jesse, you told me on day one that when everything was said and done I would be more pleased with my home then I was before the fire happened, and I doubted you, for I was in love with my house and wary of insurance companies. However, you right. It is better than before. You were able to get the insurance companies. However, you were right. It is better than before. You were able to get the insurance to cover things that I believe if left to our own devices. Ray and I would have omitted from our claim. Moreover, during the entire process, you held our hands quite nicely. You quickly called us back anytime we had a question or concern and made things clear to us when, as often occurred, we lost sight of the big picture by focusing on less important aspects. Thought the progression seemed sometimes long and arduous, now that we are back in our own home we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our basement is new and improved; our upstairs is freshly painted and carpeted; and our furniture is just what we always wanted - and I truly believe we owe much of our happiness to you
This letter is written to express my sincere gratitude for a great job as my public adjuster. You took on an arduous task that I thought would never end and comforted my well being as an out of state resident. As a New York City Firefighter, putting out fires gives me great pleasure in preserving the life and property as well as helping people. I never thought of being on the other side of a situation that I’m so used to. You have made life much easier and I recommend you highly, without regard, to anyone who has an insurance loss.
George and I would like to thank you for all of your help and guidance during our difficult time. You were so patient and always took the time to explain everything to us. You were always available to answer questions and provide moral support and assistance. Thank you for all of the time and effortt in preparing the endless amount of paperwork and correspondence that we needed in the order to deal with the insurance company. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for keeping us sane.
The most important lesson I learned through all of this is if, heaven forbid, something ever happens again, I will call you first!
I want to thank you for all your help, hard work and most importantly, for being there for us throughout the entire process of the insurance claim, rebuilding and sale of the home. You said early on that I could contact you any time and you would get back to me…and you did - every time! Even during your vacation. When my parent’s house was vandalized you were there fast, even on Labor Day to secure the property.
In deciding to work with you and your company I thought about what I read in the bestselling book, “The Millionaire Next Door.” That the main difference between “regular” people and “Millionaires” is that non-millionaires, as a group, spend big money for material items and try to cut corners when spending on professional services. Millionaires alternatively, are frugal when purchasing material items but pay top dollar to get the best possible advice and services. I made the right choice.
There’s no doubt that your services are responsible for an additional 30% to 40% or more collected on my claim than I could have obtained by trying to settle this on my own; and that is after paying your fee! Plus you did all the hard work like making sure the house was secured, itemizing all of the contents, dealing with the insurance company and rebuilding the home.
You always looked out for my interest and I want you to know that I am very grateful for that. The construction of the house went perfectly. You three gentlemen not only did a great job rebuilding, but also worked with my realtor to ensure that the sale of the house went smoothly. The house sold at the top of the market and that is going to help my Dad tremendously since he has only social security to rely on in his later years.
Thank you so much for all that you have done for us & Bissey Glassworks. You took a nightmare & made it manageable - even kind of fun. It was nice meeting you! Thanks Again
We can’t thank you enough for all of your help in getting us through all of this mess. A special thanks to Clay and his group and especially Tom Stone. He really was a class act.
You know that Bob and I had a difficult time letting go of control when we first met you! Having lost our home and our pets, it was the worst time in our lives. Having someone say they can take care of everything left us thinking maybe we weren’t thinking clearly. You, Barry, and Ann-Marie did take care of everything and we couldn’t have don’t it without you.
We are confident that we would not have been able to get fully compensated from the insurance company without all of you. We quite honestly would have given up and taken anything; but even with a fight, we couldn’t have done what you did. Beyond the financial aspect, we know how many details you took care of. From boarding up the house, getting us an architect, cataloging our contents, of course having Tibor and Curt build our home, handling the mounds of paperwork, and the million other details in between.
You now have our complete gratitude and trust. We hope we’ll never need your services again but if we do, we will just leave the claim and building process in your capable hands and go on an extended vacation! We really can’t thank all of you enough for doing such a fantastic job getting this fire behind us and helping us move on in our beautiful new home.
Thank you very much for your help in settling our flood claims. We would never have received this settlement without your help. Thanks & God Bless
Thank you again for all that you’ve done for us. You handled everything in a timely manner, and your team always got back to us in record time when we had concerns. The peace of mind that came with putting this situation in your hands cannot be measured. We have, and will continue to, highly recommend Community Claims to anyone we speak with on the question of whether to hire a public adjuster when a disaster hits.
I want thank you for running an honest business. In today’s world that is important. You handled all my affairs in the most professional and caring manner. When I think of everything you did, I know I could never have done it myself and I didn’t have a minute of worry.
